I have learned from other's experiences. They have a large service department where.. Can you guess what they do there Spee? Thats right! They work on cars! Correct. But not on Z32s. It has been 8 years since the Z was brought here. I bet very few, if any of the techs have even touched one. But you're not asking for something simple like an oil change or a wheel rotation. You;re asking for the biggest possible thing that can be done to this car. The fact that they told it would be $1400 and take 2 days means they have no idea what the fuck they are doing with a Z. you should have walked away and thought nothing more of it at that time. The mechanic has expierence with Z cars. You mean he has driven one before? Changed the oil? Licked the window? He obviously has never worked on one with an estimate like the one he gave you. I know dealerships arn't always the best place to take cars, especially Zs. But I'm stupid to just consider this place? No. YES. See above If my mind was made up why the fuck would I seek advice?
